Senior Business Analyst  

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst. You will lead our effort to link our information technology capacity and our business objectives. Your main goal will be to support and ensure the successful completion of analysis, building, testing, and deployment tasks.

About the Customer:

You will work with the 6th-largest privately owned organization in the United States. The Customer is one of the "Big Four" accounting organizations and the largest professional services network in the world by revenue and number of professionals. The company provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services with more than 263,900 professionals globally.

 

About the Project:

The company of the Customer is a trademark under which tens of thousands of specialists in independent firms around the world cooperate, providing audit, consulting, financial advice, tax and related services for selected clients. The team is engaged in the integration of the Customer's application into the infrastructure of the client-companies.

 

It is a web application with complex business logic to manage data and provide various levels of access to this data. Different teams work on different parts of the project, which are then combined into a coherent whole.

 

Responsibilities include testing with Swagger and POSTMAN, cross browser UI testing, database testing: testing DBs> MongoDB + MSSQL DB

 

Release frequency 1 time per 3.5 months

 

Technologies: Angular2 + .Net

Approach: Test-driven development

Task management: VSTS (AzDo)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Advanced technical skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Experience leading and developing top-performing teams
  • Understanding of complex requirements at all development stages: elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management
  • Understanding the full software development lifecycle

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a conduit between product owners, development teams, and project leaders to help improve development team effectiveness
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • Document and communicate the results of your efforts
  • Effectively articulate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
